Raising Funds for Homeless Youth
At Construction People, we have sponsored the Property Industry’s Charity Regatta for the past 10 years. We sail to make a tangible impact for a great cause.
All funds raised go to homeless young Australians needing a helping hand. The money raised from a day at sea supports the Haven Project as it builds homes for homeless youth across Brisbane.
The Property Industry Foundation partners with many youth-focused charities, and in the process, together they build safe environments and support initiatives focused on education, pathways to employment, and wellbeing which contributes to and benefits our community as a whole.
There are also many prizes on the day, and our contribution to the raffle is a day out on the bay on a prize luxury yacht!
In 2024 $139,000 was raised, and in 2025 a record $150,000 was raised for homeless youth!

We’ve been recruiting the built environment for the last 15 years, and our leadership team has a combined experience of over 35 years in the construction industry.
Our long tenure in the industry and exposure to working with employers and employees at all levels of the industry has afforded us a deep understanding of the commercial construction landscape and a powerful network of people who work within it.
